• I received my MA in Interpreting from Middlesex University London in 2010, mentored by Dr Kevin Lin OBE. Since my first simultaneous interpreting assignment in late 2011, I have completed close to 1,000 days of conference interpretation.
• CATTI Translation Level 2 (2008), CATTI Translation Level 1 (2014), and CATTI Interpretation Level 1 (2018).
• I specialise in education, mining, agriculture, semiconductors and display technology, technology, finance and derivatives, power, trade, environmental policy, energy and oil and gas, as well as high-level meetings and courtesy calls.
• I have served more than 25 Chinese and international heads of state, and hundreds of ministers, provincial leaders, governors, ambassadors and Fortune 500 executives.
• I am an experienced project manager. I have managed 40 interpreters working simultaneously across 15 parallel sessions, and client relationships that have lasted for more than a decade.
• I have translated well over one million words, including several published books and major reports. I also use Trados for ongoing localisation projects and manage multilingual localisation totalling more than 2.5 million words.
• My interpreting assignments have taken me to the United States, the United Kingdom, Korea, the Netherlands, Belgium, Poland, Austria, Sweden, Denmark, the Philippines, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Saudi Arabia and Nepal.
